As a mom of two, Laura has been heartbroken by recent school shootings and other incidents of gun violence. We can do more to protect our loved ones. Illinois has relatively strong gun laws, but we need to keep illegal guns out of our communities. She supports the Combatting Illegal Gun Trafficking bill, longer waiting periods, responsible gun ownership, and other common sense measures to help ensure our children and loved ones are safe at school and anywhere else they go in Illinois.
